“One of our customers commissioned us to make a gasket with additional soundproofing for premium cars. The precise application of the additional sponge in a precisely defined place proved to be quite a challenge. The most effective solution turned out to be the use of a collaborative robot with additional tooling. This choice allowed us to create a workstation where the machine cooperates with the man without the need to build unnecessary barriers, which in this case would additionally increase the cycle time. The concept and integration of the station was done for us by Drim Robotics from Czechowice. The machine has been working for over a year now and does not pose any problems. We have managed to automate the most difficult of the production processes, which has allowed us to reduce production costs while maintaining high product quality and winning new orders for further gasket models for this customer.”
